Happy New Year to you all!

We have had a fantastic first week back and a really positive start to 2018. 

In English we have been finishing off our writing about the Great Fire of London before we start to look at Jack and the Beanstalk next week. 

The new year has seen us start a new topic in maths - multiplication. We have been learning to use and understand the following vocabulary; groups of, lots of and repeated addition. We have also started to use the X symbol in calculations.

We will be starting our new topic next week - Where can we Explore? Keep an eye out for the new topic web appearing on our class page.

On Monday we will be working with Elliot again from Sale Sharks Rugby Club. Remember to bring warm clothes and trainers, it was very cold last week and a bit damp underfoot so come prepared!
