Delamere’s Update 20.10.18

We started our addition and subtraction maths unit last week by recapping on learning from Year 1 with number bonds up to and including 20. This week we have moved onto strategies for addition, you can see these in the picture below. 

In English we have moved onto poetry, choosing the theme of space to link with The Toys in Space story. 

On Friday we found out about an American artist called Lisa Filttipaldi. We were all amazed by her paintings and even more amazed when we found out that she is blind. She feels the paints and the textures give her clues as to the colour.  We had a go ourselves to find out if different colours felt different.
