Linmere class blog 13.6.21

Its been a busy first week back in Linmere and the children have worked really hard.

This week, we looked more at our new book 'Blue John' and we focused on developing technical and interesting vocabulary relating to this area. Maths this week has been hard and we have spent lots of time looking at finding fractions of quantities and then finding a whole from a fraciton. The children did well in this topic and have started to apply these concepts to wide range of questions. 

In topic this week, we looked at identifying mountain ranges in North America using an atlas and in science we revisited all of our learning on plants.
