Linmere's class blog 20/6/21

A tough week in Linmere done and dusted and we've made lots of progress once again. 

This week, we looked in depth at explanations and the children created an explanation on how to create a cloud and a paper hen. By the end of the week, the pupils were able to add time adverbials and connect phrases to create an effective and clear explanation in this topic. In Maths, we continued our work on fractions and we looked at adding and subtracting fractions and working with fractions over a whole.

A standout piece of work from the week was the children's shading of a train in Art. It was really clear to see how lots of them have taken in lots of new shading techniques and the drawings they did this week were a lot better than before we started this unit.
