Another week done and children got a chance to do some different activities over the week. 

On Wednesday, the year 5 children went  swimming and their behaviour and attitude in this lesson was brilliant. All of the children put lots of effort into this session and showed us they'll do  well in swimming next year.

During the rest of the week, the children were challenged to create a first-person story based on our book 'Escape from Pompeii'. The children worked really hard over the week to get this story finished and applied lots of the skills they've learned over the last couple of months. Another exceptional piece of work from the children this week was the booklet they made on how the Romans changed Britain. For this lesson, the children were challenged to research the Romans impact on Britain and then present this information in a creative way.
