I am not quite sure how it is Friday already, this week has flown by!

The highlight of the week was obviously our visit to Santa and seeing the animals at Cotebrook. We hope you enjoyed looking at the photographs that we shared earlier this week.

Highlights from our learning this week:

• In History we looked at photographs of old toys and tried to see if we knew what they were called and the material we thought that they were made from.
• Our DT this week looked at making a lever mechanism to make Jack climb up the beanstalk.
• In RE we thought about the story of the Wise Men and what this teaches Christians about Jesus.
• In maths we have been learning about 2D shapes – circles, triangles, squares and rectangles.
•  

We are looking forward to our festive activities this week, here is a reminder for you.

Tuesday 12^th December: Carol Service in St. John’s Church at 1.30pm. All welcome. Collection of all children from church.

Thursday 14^th December: Whole school pantomime – Beauty and the Beast – at Northwich Memorial Court

Thursday 14^th December: Santa’s Grotto 3.20pm – 5pm

Friday 15^th December: Christmas Jumper Day – this is a non-uniform event with a Christmas embellishment!

Friday 15^th December: End of term at 2pm
