Sandymere Class Blog and World Book Day

Date: 8th Mar 2024 @ 4:05pm

What a great week we have had!

It was so lovely to see all the children in their favourite clothes yesterday as we celebrated World Book Day.

In Sandymere, we focussed on a book called I could be a Superhero. In the book a little dog is exploring different things he could be when he is older. The message is that anyone can be anything and that we are all different. We then thought about what we might be when we are older. We looked at lots of different job ideas before deciding.

We had an amazing visit to Winsford Library on Wednesday. Did you know that it is free to join and you can borrow up to 20 books at a time? We all learnt lots of things about what happens at the library, there are even clubs after school that are free to attend. Here is the library website so you can find out how to join and access the activities that they have on offer. Winsford Library | Cheshire West and Chester Council

We hope you enjoy looking at the photographs below and have a lovely weekend.
