Amazing attendance this week, we had the best out of the whole school! Well done!

We have been very busy as usual. Here are some of the highlights from our week.

• In science the children amazed us with how much they remembered about the five animal groups and the three food groups. We then moved on to the human body and learnt the names for the different body parts. 
• We have become much more confident with addition of numbers within 20 and so next week we will be moving on to subtraction within 20. 
• PE was a bit cold this week. Please make sure that your child has a full PE kit in school with them all week. There have been lots of children without one this week. 
• We created collage animals and these will be appearing on our wall very soon. We will share a photo when it is ready. 
• We have read to the end of the Lion Inside and are now getting ready to write our own stories.

This week the teachers had their meeting at the Education Library. Sandymere teachers got very excited by all the books and the children will get to see the ones that we chose on Monday. 

World Book Day 2024 
On Thursday 7th March, come dressed as yourself in your favourite clothes to show your friends just how special you are! There will be lots of activities based on books, including a storytelling session for pupils with Mrs Snowdon during the day.
