What a fabulous and busy week we have had in Blakemere! 

On Monday, in Science, we explore the work of Isaac Newton and his theory of colour. We used a prism to refract the light and to see the visible sepctrum, which Newton discovered. We were all amazed with what we saw. 

I was also very proud of Blakemere's school councillors, who lead the School Council meeting in class on Wednesday. They weere clear and confident and ran the meeting with ease. Great job girls!

On Thursday, we also held a lantern building day. Normally, Blakemere would take part in the Winsford Town Lantern parade, but unfortunately that couldn't go ahead this year. All was not lost though as we had a lovely day making the lanterns in class.
