The roots of Over St John's are in Faith and Respect. From this grow our school Christian values:
Friendship, Thankfulness, Compassion, Forgiveness, Community and Hope.
Each class has taken one of our Christian values, so that by the end of a pupil's time at Over St John's, they will have learnt about each value. Please see our Christian Values section for more information.

As a school, we were subject to a SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) Inspection in June 2022 which looks at the way in which our school promotes it's Christian distinctiveness.
