12.11.2021 - Blakemere Remembers

Date: 14th Nov 2021 @ 8:54am

This week, was Remembrance Week in school. We have spent time reflecting and thinking about the importance and significance of Remembrance day and produced some work in response to this. We used the book 'Where the Poppies now grow' as inspiration for our poem and 'In Flanders Fields' as inspiration for our at work, which are here below:

I was very impressed with the thoughtful responses the children had throughout this week.

We were also lucky enough on Thursday to take part in a latern building workshop. We have each made our own lantern for the lantern parade on the 26th November 2021 for the lights switch on.

We have continued to developed our confidence and understanding in finding factors and prime numbers.

In Science, we have started our new topic where we shall be leanring all about the heart, lungs and blood.

SECRET QUESTION

List all the prime numbers up to 20.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I shall see you tomorrow.
