2019 - 2020 School Council ANNOUNCED

Last week Delamere, Oakmere, Linmere and Blakemere classes were very busy electing the school councillors for 2019 - 2020 period.The children were given the opportunity to write speeches and speak in front of their classes explaining why they should be nominated and voted for.  I hear there were some excellent speeches and the children enjoyed being part of the democratic process by voting for the candidates that wished to represent their classes. I am pleased to announce that going forward the new school council is as follows:

Y6 Jaime and Kayleigh

Y5 Mia and Lucia

Y4 Jacob and Faye

Y3 Tom and Isla

Y2 Enes and Callum

 

Georgia and Lily will take on the roles of Chair and Vice Chair however these roles are yet to be allocated as we will be officially voting them in at our first meeting as well as secretary and treasurer.

We can't wait to get started.  Our first meeting is Tuesday 17th September.
