Hello Blakemere!

What another successful and productive week we have had! In Maths, we have recapped on dividing whole and decimal numbers by 10, 100 and 1000 and went on to solve different problems involving this. We later moved on to BIDMAS and looked at the order that operations need to be solved in. We had some help from the BIDMAS squad! Next week, we shall begin our unit of work on fractions. This is one of Mrs M favourite parts of Maths!

In English, we have written a setting description and have explored complex sentences. We shall continue with this over the next week,

We also took part in some different activities linked to Anti-Bullying week. The theme was to 'Unite against Bullying' and we spent sometime exploring what this meant. We created wordles to show what can happen when we all unite together in a positive way. 

I have the blurbs of 3 books that I would like to share with you tomorrow. Using the blurbs only, you will take a vote on which text you would like for our next class read.
