Another good week in Linmere sees the end to a successful half-term.

This week we looked at inverse operations and estimating to finish of the addition and subtraction unit.  The children worked very hard in these areas and managed to work through a range of questions. In our literacy, we continued our book and looked at plural words and showing possession using apostrophes.

Topic was quite relaxed this week and we have done lots of art linked to Africa. On Friday, the children created their own market stall for West Benin and described some of the items they would sell using a range of resources. They also created an African landscape and designed  a range of pop-up African animals.
