Hello

In our English lesson we have been reading the book Major Glad, Major Dizzy where the main characters are two wooden soliders from the 1800s who turn out to be heroes!  Inspired by this we decided to create our own peg people characters.  We talked about their heroic characteristics and designed characters that could be added to the story but in a modern day setting.  It turns out that creating peg people can be a fiddly process and that wood can be tricky to decorate, however just look at the children's independent creative outcomes.  Well done Team Delamere - Major Glad and Major Dizzy would be very proud of your perserverance and positive attitude.  You certainly 'Let your light's shine'.
