Hatchmere's Gingerbread Baking

Hello Hatchmerians,

We have had a very exciting week here in Hatchmere! As you know we have been reading The Gingerbread Man and the children were very excited to find out that they would be making their own. Hatchmere each took it in turns and carefully weighed, measured, poured, cut and stirred our ingredients together. We talked about how each addition to the mixture might change what we see, what we feel and what we smell! The Gingerbread People were then baked and the children had lots of fun decorating them. The whole class then sat down together and enjoyed their Gingerbread People with a glass of milk. We hope you enjoy the pictures.
