Blakemere Class - 16.10.20

Date: 18th Oct 2020 @ 3:01pm

We have had a very busy week in school and by Friday afternoon we were all feeling rather tired!

We really enjoyed our football session on Tuesday afternoon, led by Mr Bearcroft from the Winsford Academy.

On Thursday morning, it was great to see the children taking part so well in the skipping workshop. There was many smiling faces and great effort shown by all!

This week, the children have completed some practise papers in class. Everybody has worked extremely hard. Keep up the good work Blakemere!

In Art, we have drawn some intricate Islamic art patterns and the House of Wisdom.

In RE, we have learnt about the role of Bishops and Archbishops, and how they seek to create the kind of world Jesus would want.

We have been learning about 'Kick It Out' in English and have investigated a magazine article. We have also continued working on our multiplication skills and have multiplied decimal numbers by whole numbers.

Next week, we will be planning, writing and then editing our final piece magazine articles, to finish our English unit of work for this half term. We will also be multiplying numbers by 10, 100 and 1000, and looking at multiples and factors.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Take care,

Miss Hartley
