What an absolutely amazing week we had last week!

On Tuesday, the Year 6 children attended Chester Dicoese Leavers' Service at Chester Cathedral. The service was lovely and it was great to share our banner around our interpretations of hope and aspirations. After the service, we took a walk through Chester and had lunch at the ampitheatre. Following this, we headed to Grosvenor Park where we enjoyed some time together on the park. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves.

On Wednesday, the Year 6 children also had their final swimming lesson. It has been wonderful to see how far they have come over the last few weeks.

On Thursday, we held our final dress rehearsal for our 'Primary School Musical' at the United Reformed Church, Over Square. We are all very much looking forward to sharing this with you on Monday 18th July at 4:15pm.

On Friday, we spent the day building Iron Age Round Houses. The children drew out their base and then drilled the holes for the dowling to make the walls. They measured their dowling and used a saw to cut them accurately. They then finally weaved straw through the walls and made the roof. I was very impressed with how they completed this task.

I am looking forward to spending our final two days together.
