Caterpillar update!

Morning Oakmere!

I thought you'd all be interested to know that our caterpillars are beginning the next stage of their life cycle. Overnight 3 of the 5 caterpillars have made their way to the top of the pot and started to hang in a J shape upside down! They will shed their exoskeleton one more time before they pupate (become chrysalides) - we often call this their cocoon. We will leave them in peace for 2 to 3 days now before transferring them to their next habitat where they will emerge as butterflies!
