Delamere’s Update 7.6.19

This week we concluded our science experiment - What do plants need to grow and stay healthy? I hope that you’re child can tell you what we found out about the beans that we planted. 

In English we have started a new book called The House Held Up By Trees. The children have made some brilliant predictions and have been including adverbs and conjunctions in their writing. 

Geography took us to South America today where we learnt all about Cloud Forests. See if your child can tell you any facts about this type of jungle. 

Don’t forget we are off to Delamere Forest on Tuesday, let’s keep our fingers crossed for a dry day. Any questions about the trip please come and see me or contact the school office. 

Mrs Jones will be teaching the class on Monday morning and then I will be back in the afternoon.
