It’s been another busy week in Delamere!
In Maths this week we have been practicing solving problems involving division and today we looked at how we can use a bar model to help us do this. I was really impressed with how the children took to this new strategy.
In English this week we have been looking at how we can extend our writing by using subordinate conjunctions, because, when and if and the children have really grown in confidence deciding which conjunction would best suit the sentence that they are writing. We have also had a big focus on presentation this week and we are so pleased with the care and attention that the children have shown when presenting their work. Keep it up Delamere!
Just like we are, our beans are also developing beautifully! We have lots of shoots coming up through our soil and the beans in our mini greenhouses have also began to germinate. We will explore this word more next week and I can’t wait to see what our beans will be like when we get back to school after our long weekend!
