Football Frenzy and Marvelous Music

What special treats we have had in Hatchmere in today!

Football frenzy has certainly hit our class today! Our children were so excited to talk about the football that we thought we would turn our PE session with Miss Pile into a foortball match! As you can see from the pictures below Hatchmere had a super time practicing their dribbling skills and working together in their teams. Some of the goals looked like they belonged on a professional pitch....Mr Southgate, Hatchmere are ready for the call up!!

If the excitment of football wasn't enough, we had a visit from Debora Betts who gave the children a private Ukelele lesson!! Hatchmere are a very musical class and they were transfixed.

We use a company called Front Row Music to provide in-school lessons to the our pupils. Front Row Music believe music should be as fun and accessible to young children as possible. The emphasis is on performance and helping children to get excited about playing an instrument.
