French challenges

Bonjour tout le monde,

If you feel like doing a bit of French, find attached 4 challenges. There is no obligation to do any or all but if you fancy them, have a go!

Challenge 1:

Follow this link to the nursery rhyme: "Une souris verte" (a green mouse) and have a go at joining in.

Some of you will remember it, can you remember the actions? If not, can you make up your own?

Challenge 2:

Listen to this song, sang by Jean Jacques Goldman. He is THE French singer, he recently adapted one of his old songs, changing the words in support for all the amazing people out there doing an amazing job, helping the way they can during this. The "new" song is called: "Ils sauvent des vies" (they save lives).

Can you work out some of the jobs he mentions?

Challenge 3:

Remember that in French every noun is either feminine or masculine?

Can you create a chart listing some foods you have around the house? Find the French for the word using Google, a French dictionary if you have one or even your memory and add them to the list.

Masculine (un/le)

Feminine (une/la)

Un abricot

Un gâteau

Une fraise

Une glace

Challenge 4:

Create 20 small pieces of paper, on some of them write in numbers the number from 1 to 10 and on the other 10, write the French words for these numbers.
