Week 1 completed!!

Wow! What a fantastic first week we have had in Hatchmere. It has been a joy getting to know our little Hatchmerians and watching as they grow in confidence within their new learning environment. The children have been building, painting, running around our obstacle course and riding some bikes. Alongside this we have read stories, role played and created some fantastic games. We can already tell that this year is going to be fabulous.

Just a few gentle reminders about PE kits and school bags. Please send your child in with their PE kit in a small drawstring bag as soon as possible so that they may join in our PE lessons fully. Can we also ask that you DO NOT send your child to school with a backpack. They are far too big for our compact cloakroom and cause issues for the children as they try to hang up their coats. A flat rectangular book bag is ideal as they fit into our black book bag boxes and keep the cloakroom are tidy and safe. This bag does not need to be a school book bag-any bookbag will do!
