Hatchmere's Artist Visit

What an exciting day we have had in Hatchmere.....an Artist came to visit! Ticky Lowe came to our classroom and worked with our children to create some absolutely beautiful felt flowers. The children pulled, stretched and manipulated different colours of wool on their own individual designs with some amazing results. There were big smiles all around when their felt-work turned into a fantastic flower structure.

Ticky will be returning to school to stitch the flowers from every classroom together to display in our school hall. We will be posting a picture of the finished product next week, so watch this space!
