If I were a butterfly - Sandymere Display

Wow! What a fantastic two days we have had in Sandymere! It has been a pleasure getting to know our new class and we have had lots of fun together. 

I am so excited to share another class display that the children have been working on this week. We have been learning about our class Christian value which is Thankfulness and to help us we listened to the song 'If I were a butterfly'. It was great to watch the children join in with the actions so enthusiastically. They have got the moves! We then thought about how special we are because God made each and every one of us and, for this, we are thankful to God. 

The children used a painting technique to make symmetrical butterfly pictures and I think that you will agree that they look gorgeous! Next to each butterfly is a photograph of the child who made it (we have blurred them out for the website) but please do just ask if you would like to come and have a closer look!
