Linmere class blog- 22/11/19

This week in Linmere has been busy as usual.

In Maths, we looked at the 9 times tables and solving division/multiplication questions. We also started to look at multiplying 2/3-digit values by 1-digit values.

In literacy we wrote a letter to Annie (the main character in a book) pretending to be her friend. This involved retrieving some key information about Annie and altering our language for the task. We also looked at Annie’s manager and discussed what we thought about him.

We have also begun to plan our stall for the Christmas fair. The children have been busy planning ideas for their soaps to go on the stall. This has involved the children working together to create names, colour ideas and deciding how the soap should be packaged.
