In Linmere this week….

we have continued to learn about Winsford and have started to work on our Winsford guardian newspaper article from 1825. We have also created interesting questions to ask Salt prospectors and have used these questions to conduct mock interviews.

In our Maths we have looked at reading and writing roman numerals. We have also revisited rounding and looked at rounding 5 and 6 figure numbers.

In literacy the year 5s have looked at relative clauses and using a variety of these within their writing. We have also looked at using hyphens,apostrophes and commas to avoid confusion.
