Linmere class blog 11/10

This week in Linmere, we finally finished our literacy book (Counting On Katherine) and the children all wrote some great fact files on Katherine Johnson. We will be starting our new book this week and focusing on some new skills. 

For Maths, we looked at column addition and using this method to add a range of numbers. We also did some problem solving and worked through missing box questions. In our topic, we looked at peoples lives in Africa and how the environment influences their lives. The children showed really good patience in weaving this week and we investigated how to use different colours and materials to create different patterns.
