It has been another good week in Linmere. The children have worked extremely hard in the first full week back at school and have been fully engaged.

In maths, we have looked at place value and adding and subtracting powers of 10. We have also started to look at our new guided reading book (The Polar Bear Explorers Club). For literacy, we have looked at forming interesting expanded noun phrases and using prepositional phrases.

Over the course of the week, we have started to work on all our foundation subjects for the term. On Wednesday, we had a great discussion on E-safety and how to be safe when using social media.
