Linmere class blog 28/3/21

Another week in Linmere done and dusted and we're on to the last week of the term. 

This week in Linmere, we finished our work on perimeter/area and the children have done really well throughout the whole unit. During this week, we looked at calculating the area of compound and irregular shapes. In our literacy, we looked at using brackets to add extra detail to a sentence and the class role played an interview between Chris and a reporter.

For our topic, we looked at the history of Stonehenge and planned our clay pot we will be making next week. The children also created some brilliant artwork for our community wall based around the Easter weekend and Good Friday.
