Linmere class blog 29/4/22

We've done lots of work once again in Linmere this week.

At the start of the week, we looked at identifying the shape of continents around the world and positioning these on a world map. We also looked at the event of  Good Friday this week and the children were challenged to create an information booklet on how Christians celebrate this day. 

For the rest of the week, we looked at comparing, adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominators and we also looked at creating a diary. This diary was written as a villager leaving behind his island due to a volcanic eruption. The children were really engaged in this session and showed lots of empathy within their writing.
