What another great in week in Linmere and how can it be December on Sunday!

Firstly, a big congratulations to Toby, Danielle and Keiya for achieving their Bronze Reading Star badge. Remember to get your bronze badge, you need to read 4 times a week for 10 weeks, so please record your reading at home. Also well done to Adelaide for winning the raffle prize this week.

In English we’ve start a new book, ‘Escape from Pompeii’. We have been using the text to extend our sentences and add more description in our writing.

In Maths we’ve been looking for patterns in multiplication.

We all enjoyed computing, learning about, and practicing different filming techniques.

We’ve created collages to show good work of the Tearfund charity.  

In PE we continue to gain more control in Hockey and in dance, we are now learning a full dance routine to ‘Cheerleader’.

Also, PE days have changed, and PE is now on a Monday and Thursday, so please remember your kits.

Spellings are on a Monday.

 

Our Ramdan calendar forfeit for Friday, was to help with dishes at home. So, everyone in Linmere should be volunteering to help you.
