Linmere's class blog 10/6/22

We have hit the ground running again during our first week back and the children have done lots of exciting work. 

Over the week, the children were challenged to create a fact file about elephants and they all managed to do a fantastic job on this. This factfile contained adverbs of possibility, interesting language and scientific vocabulary.  We also looked at comparing decimals in maths and we learnt some key decimals and how they linked to fractions. 

A standout piece of work from the week was the children's history work on Stonehenge. During this lesson, we learnt about how people have lots of different ideas relating to how Stonehenge was used and how it was built. The children then gave their own views on what they believe from the limited information we have, and took part in a discussion about this.
