We may be nearing the end of the school year, but Linmere have had a very productive week!

Firstly, what lovely concert our talented violinists performed, well done to them all.

We’ve completed our mod-roc sea creatures, painting them and adding their eyes. They look amazing!

In Geography, we’ve finished a mini project on the Amazon. We located the Amazon Basin on a map, followed the path of the River Amazon, and learned about the importance of the river and the impact of deforestation. We also compared the climate, location, and human and physical features of the Amazon Basin with those of South East Brazil (Rio) and the UK (London).

Well done to Navannah for winning the raffle prize! Congratulations to Toby for achieving his Gold Reading Award badge and certificate!

In PE, we’ve been enjoying the sunshine while playing rounders. Please remember to bring PE kits next week.
