Our 2nd to last week is done and we're into the home straight of the year.

During the week, we started our work on decimals and we've started to understand the relationship between fractions and decimals. In literacy, we did some more work on explanation texts and explained how the stone 'Blue John' is formed in caves. 

In art, we did our last session on shading and we looked at using lighting and creating a 3D element to our drawings. We also created a poster on the Jewish celebration of Passover and the children added some key facts to this poster.

One more week to go and you can finally enjoy your well earned 6-week break
