What a busy first fully week back. I know we’re all glad it’s the weekend.

The year 5’s have had fun playing the violin. We have been exploring how to beatbox and learnt a new song, ‘Mix it up’  in music.  

In PE we’ve practiced throwing and catching skills for cricket.

In Art we have sketched out plants.

In Maths we have been partitioning numbers and developing our knowledge of place value.

In English we’ve been developing sentences to describe settings, thinking of time, mood and place.

In Science we have explored and learnt about solids, liquids and gases.

In History we have learnt about the Romans invading Britain.

 

Don’t forget that it’s spelling test on Monday. Also PE is on Wednesday and Thursday.
