The children have worked hard once again this week and we've done lots of work throughout the week. 

In maths, we looked at reading and writing numbers and the children also looked at partitioning larger numbers. A standout piece of work from the week was the children's fact files they've planned on gorillas. All the children have gathered facts about gorillas and have made these facts more exciting by adding expanded noun phrases and adverbials. 

In our topic work this week, we copied up a neater version of our WW2 posters and then the children evaluated their previous work. We also looked at a  timeline of WW2 and the children discovered the reasons for the Nazis defeat.
