Another hardworking week in Linmere — and how is it the end of another half term already? Thank you to everyone who attended our Pupil Consultation Evenings. As always, it was lovely to meet you and discuss your child’s progress.

In Maths, we’ve been learning how to interpret information and answer questions using pictograms, bar charts, and line graphs.
A reminder for our Year 4 pupils: the Multiplication Tables Check will take place from Monday 2nd June to Friday 13th June. Pupils can practise over the half term using this link:

In D&T, we’ve now added the canvas to our wooden stars and used fabric pens to decorate them with our group designs.

In Computing, pupils have enjoyed searching a database of Titanic passengers, learning how to use ‘AND’ and ‘OR’ to filter results effectively.

In PE, we’ve been practising for Sports Day — a favourite event has been the tug of war! A reminder for pupils to bring their PE kits on Monday and Thursday, suitable for outdoor activities.

Sports Day (weather permitting) will take place on Friday 6th June in the afternoon for KS2.
