Linmere's class blog 23/4/22

On our first week back at school, Linmere took part in a project linked to Earth week. For this, the children looked at reusing and recycling their own waste and as a class we formed some collages using the waste they'd collected throughout the day. 

During the rest of the week, we started lots of new topics that we will be covering over the summer term. We ordered events from the stone age into chronological order in history and for geography we put together a jigsaw of the Earth linking to our new work on South America. In maths, we continued to look at fractions and the  children did some brilliant work on finding the whole when they were given a fraction. 

The children were also given some homework this week tied to our current PSHE unit; this involved them doing some chores at home and I've said the children can complete this by printing or sending a picture of them doing a chore at home.
