Linmere's weekly blog 16/1/22

This week in Linmere, we started our topic work on rivers and the children learned some key vocabulary around the topic. We also looked at our history work on the 1970s and compared inventions from the 70s to similar modern day technology. 

In maths, we looked at factors and we formed factor rainbows. The children also managed to find the common factors between 2 numbers. For literacy, we looked descrpitive writing techniques to create an atmosphere and we formed similes, metaphors and used personification to do this.
