Linmere's weekly blog 17/5/24

Its been a busy week in Linmere and we've managed to get lots done. 

During the week, we've looked at improper and mixed number fractions  and the children began to convert between the two. It was brilliant to see the children applying their problem-solving skills to these numbers and working out a variety of problems. We also looked at creating our own monsters for our story in literacy. The children were very enthuastic about this and formed some terrifying monsters which we can use next week in our writing. 

A really fantastic lesson in Linmere this week was DT. In this lesson, the children produced a prototype of their kite design and managed to figure out whether their original design was realistic and logical.
