Linmere's weekly blog 26/4/24

We've only had two full days together this week but we've still managed to get lots of work done. 

Yesterday, we continued our work on finding fractions of an amount and today the children were able to apply this knowledge to a range of problems. We also started our literacy work on using apostrophes with plural nouns and looking at how to convert singular nouns to plural nouns. 

A standout piece of work from the week was the children's work in D and T. We are now looking at kites in this subject and all the children were very enthuastiastic to research current kite designs and then use this research to form a design criteria.
