Linmere's weekly blog 28/4/23

Lots of work has been done in Linmere once again and the children have overcome many challenges.

In literacy this week, the children were challenged to write a reflection as Livia (one of the main characters) just after the volcano had erupted. The task was made harder by the fact the children had to include a variety of tenses and talk from different viewpoints. 

During the rest of the week, the children did some fantastic work in R.E  where they discussed their own values and linked this to key values in Sikhism. It was really nice in this lesson to see the children discussing and debating their own viewpoints.  The children also did well and developed some confidence in computing this week. Our computing lesson focused on the children planning and recording their own video and I was impressed with how well some pairs worked.
