Linmere's weekly blog 3/5/24

Its been busy in Linmere once again this week and lots of good work has been done.

During the week, the children continued their work on fractions and we looked at finding a whole from a fraction aswell as comparing and ordering fractions. The children really understood these concepts and did some brilliant work in these areas. We also managed to finish our geography unit  on volcanoes yesterday and the children made some good information sheets explaining the advantages and disadvantages of living beside a volcano. 

Literacy this week involved us using was and were correctly in sentences and changing the tense of our writing to the past progressive tense.
