The children have started 2023 in a great way and they've done some brilliant work.

This week, we started our new science unit on rocks and the children looked at grouping and classifying different types of rocks. They also did some brilliant computing work on online identities and how to deal with difficult situations online. The children were really engaged in these sessions and gave some good and sensible answers. 

For our literacy work this week, the children looked at a new character in our book called Frank Russell. Our sessions involved us  giving this character personalitiy traits and then pretending to be him in our writing. All of the children did some brilliant work on this character and put themselves in the his shoes.
