Linmere's weekly blog 20/1/23

Its been busy in Linmere this week and lots of work has been done. 

Over the week, the children were challenged to write some  recounts as Annie Edison Taylor (the main person in our book) and they did a brilliant job. These recounts involved the children imagining themselves travelling down a river and about to go down the deadly Niagara Falls. 

During the rest of the week, the children looked at fossils and explored how one was made. They also did some good history work on Ancient Greece and compared the two regions of Athens and Sparta.
