Linmere's weekly blog 15/3/24

Linmere have had a busy and interesting week and we've done lots of new and different activities. 

On Thursday, we finally got the chance to make the sandwiches that we designed earlier in the term. It was fantastic to see the children in this lesson working independently and slicing, chopping and grating their own ingredients and their end products were really good.

This week was also science week and for this we spent some time learning about day and night and how this linked to Earth's rotation. Afterwards, we made our own sun dials and looked at how these can be used to tell the time and how the shadow changes position due to the Earth's rotation.
