Oakmere 12th March

Date: 12th Mar 2021 @ 5:51pm

It’s been so lovely having the children back in this week. The classroom has been filled with excited chatter and bright smiling faces. Everyone has settled back into the “old” routines and they’ve all worked hard.

In maths this week have been revisiting multiplication and times tables. Any additional work you can do on this at home would be great – remember to keep using Numbots / Rock Stars.

We’ve started looking at a new book in English – The Great Paper Caper by Oliver Jeffers. The children have made predictions and then used the present perfect tense to describe what has happened in the first few pages.

Please remember, PE days are Tuesday and Friday and so children will need OUTDOOR kit for those days. We also change reading books on a Friday only therefore they will also need their reading books and diaries in school on this day.

Excellent examples for this week are attached below.

Have a great weekend and see you next week.
