Hello Oakmere

Here we are already at the end of the half term.  What a fantastic half term we have had.  So much work has been done that we have moved onto second books in some subject.  I know the parents who came on Tuesday and Thursday were very impressed.  Thank you again to those who came.

In English we are starting to gather our ideas together and plan our big write which we will be completing in the first few weeks back.  In Math’s we are moving onto measurement which is a nice practical unit of work.  In Science we will be learning more about plants and their lifecycle.

I mentioned to a couple of you who have Year 4 children about the times test the children will be doing when we return and here is a link to practice those tests over the half term.

Big congratulations to our times table experts Suzanne, Archie, Jacob, Thea, Belle, Lily, Beatrice and Olivia M for getting forty out of forty on this week’s test.  Well done to Sebastian and Daisy for getting their gold reading stars-amazing. Well done to Luca for winning our raffle ticket prize-he really deserved it after the fab start he has had.

Our attendance this week is winning any prizes but I am sure after a restful half term we will be better.  Our attendance this week is 96.80%
